Congresswoman Joins AmeriCorps and Local Volunteers for 9/11 Day of Service

On Tuesday, September 11, Congresswoman Virginia Foxx joined AmeriCorps members for a volunteer service project in honor of the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. She was accompanied by Barbara Stewart, CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency which administers the AmeriCorps program, at a local Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County build site.
