Rep. Foxx Joins AmeriCorps for September 11 Day of Service

On Tuesday, September 11, Congresswoman Virginia Foxx will join AmeriCorps members for a volunteer service project in honor of the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Joined by Barbara Stewart, CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency which administers the AmeriCorps program, the Congresswoman will make brief remarks before being sworn in as an honorary AmeriCorps member at a local Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County build site.
