1 Courtyard Garden This project is addressing access to healthy foods and plans to build a garden in the schools courtyard and donate the food to the schools food pantry to allow students to get free fresh produce. They wil also be recycling old tires in the process so this will help show students how you can reuse a very commonly dumped item in the area. Developing TBA
2 Cancer Awareness This project is focusing on cancer awareness in the community and adress the misconceptions people with cancer have. The student plans to have multiple presentations in science classes and inform the students on cancer and our current rates and open up for a discussion on possible solutions or probable causes.
