Tell us about your successes (or frustrations) in connecting with community resources. How might your fellow AmeriCorps members or HPAC staff help?
I felt the training that I received didn’t really get me prepared for what I was to be doing. Honestly this job is something that you need someone to show you the ropes first. But now that I have started in my schools, I can say that I am loving it. The kids are awesome and I am so pumped for what that we are doing. I think that the members and staff are helping in all the ways they can and I truly appreciate what Amanda and Matt have done to help me at the schools that we are at.
